About the event

What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing, or Nature Therapy, is a practice that supports the health and wellness of people and the land they are on. Through an immersive process participants are encouraged to slow down and allow their senses to open, deepening the reciprocal relationship between participants and the forest. This process can support the wholeness and well-being of humans, the lands we inhabit, and other than human worlds.

On our walk, we will take a slow, physically gentle wander in the woods. Through a series of invitations, participants will be encouraged to interact with the land and its beings, in a way that feels appropriate (or intuitive) to themselves.

The walk can take 2-3 hours, depending on the size of our group. Participants are encouraged to bring something to sit on (a pad, camp chair), water, snacks (optional), and comfortable weather appropriate clothing.
